Hello all, My name is Susan and I live in the beautiful Scottish borders where I paint from a studio in our home (The Farmhouse!)
I live with my partner and we have three daughters, some hens, rescue rabbits and guinea pigs and a stubborn sausage dog called Maisy.
We moved into the farmhouse nearly three years ago after it had stood empty for seven years. The garden is still very much wild and in some places completely overgrown which is how I like it. We even have a stream running through it!
The garden and surrounding area gives me inspiration for all my botanical style paintings.
I enjoy all year round wild swimming, finding waterfalls and costal walks, I especially enjoy being out on my old raleigh bicycle.
